mortgages changing jobs

i'm in the process of getting a mortgage its all going relatively smoothly. the only problem is i may be offered a new job whilst this process is going on. will this affect my chances of getting my mortgage?

If you have a probationary period- then almost definitely. When we got our mortgage I changed jobs (same sector and a promotion) and they wouldn't consider my income on our joint application so our amount was based just on multiples of my partners income.0
