Abbey requesting documents again!

Abbey are asking for documents they received 4 weeks ago (sent by our Mortgage Broker,by fax). This is the latest in a series of delays, broken promises on time limits by Abbey. Broker chasing every day with a contact (Business Manager). Advice welcome-I suppose its just a matter of time but so frustrating. Thank you for reading this!

Im not far off 3 weeks since booking and not heard anything

What have they asked for?

If i dont hear anything next week i think im gonna apply somewere else. They shouldnt be allowed to do this, its stress full enough trying to buy a house without these guys working against you.

After 2 weeks of chasing , RBS Mortgage Centre finally appointed an underwriter to look at our application today and came back saying that the Internet Banking print outs of our last 3 months statements were no good and that they needed to see the originals.
This is after applying in branch and a RBS mortgage advisor actually sending over the statements to them.
A&L will take a week to print original statements so we're going back with the Woolwich who've just reinstated their 85 ltv mortgage (the reason we had to go to the RBS in the 1st place).

Arghhhh!

Still waiting, I give them a ring at 11 a.m and 4 p.m. every day but get same reply which amounts to - no news!
