Help with credit rating

I'm annoyed... (see!!) I changed my bank account last year and two advances I had on my current mortgage for some reason are showing as missed payments - it looks like the direct debit didn't go through on the first month, but it has shown a missed payment for EVERY MONTH since - not once did the Nationwide inform me. I have payed the arrears (a grand total of £27!!)

Now I have a bad credit score (376) and an accepted offer on a house I am about to apply for a mortgage on (£105k, 80% LTV - we earn £40k between us - 63% of that from me) - luckily my partner has v good credit score - just wondering if I'm going to get a mortgage, or if there's anything else I can do to improve that rating (I'm on the roll, we pay off the credit card every month, overdraft is paid off when I get paid)

Be grateful for any input please

Ignore please - I've just sorted it. Nwide have admitted they should have told me and will rectify the problem with Experian (nice 45 minute phone call) - so it is possible to argue your case.

Next question - anyone have any idea how long it will take to show. They said within 48 hours...

48 hours is pretty quick, sign up with credit expert and keep an eye on it.

    well done by the way.
    Happily an ex mortgage broker!

I have - and cheers. Guess it's best to wait on the mortgage until it changes (bit worried about a gazumping - I REALLY like the house)
