halifix calling at work

Hi all. I have now been getting calls at work from a machine now rather than human. Is this acceptable. I dont think it is as it comes though on a general line & anyone can answer. What do i do any advise please???:confused:

    Do you know the calls are definitely for you if its a machine?? These normally just cut out if they cannot connect you to an advisor (often!).

    Halifax are the worst for calling and the worst for getting them to stop.

    If you ever get to talk to someone, you can always pretend that you are someone else and that "you" resigned your post a few weeks previously as you had a nervous breakdown.

    Thanks skylight, yeh its for me. they say your name & press 1 if it is me etc etc. I have rang since & now had a right go at them & gave them a false number & asked to remove work number or i will report them to the oft but i have asked 3 times now. mmmmm.

    You need to put it in writing. Are you BR yet (can never keep up these days!) There are different letter templates one on DFW board if you are not and one here (cos its illegal to chase BRs). Will have a search, Fermi normally posts them,
