I think you and the MSE team do great work Martin, but I think there's an argument here. Some of the headlines can be a bit sensationalist. I remember the RBS/NatWest story: 'RBS and Natwest to charge for over-the-counter withdrawals' the headline read. It turned out to be a bit misleading, as it only applied to cash withdrawals in branch from other banking organizations (including Natwest/RBS), and like many others I was surprised that they didn't charge for this already.
I'm not having a dig, like I say it's a great thing that you're educating people on matters that are ignored in school, and parents can't always advise on (because they were never educated about it themselves), and it's great that people are being kept up-to-date; but I do think not being totally accurate in headlines detracts from the credibility of otherwise well-researched and informative articles.
I think there's some validity in that - the problem is we need to increase the number of characters we can have in our headlines - but its a bigger job than you'd think due to how we've designed it.Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Thanks for posting Martin.
My tuppence worth is this:
Ray Boulger is not a leading market commentator, he is a vested interest and as such it should be flagged up clearly that he speaks for the CML.
Also, Ray Boulger gets enough publicity as it is (some might say too much
). Why do his articles/opinions have to be reproduced on the MSE website?
There are lots of people who may read this article and take it at face value, assume that the crash is over and feel pressured into buying at the (possibly) wrong time on the strength of it. That is how much influence you have, Martin Lewis (and I speak as one of your greatest fans - you are a national treasure and have made an enormous positive difference to countless people's lives which is more than most people on this earth can say
).
All I am saying is - perhaps try to be very careful about highlighting these people's vested interests when quoting them, so that MSEers are able to recognise the angle from which they are coming.
Thanks you.
