Wool Falls: How do you make your own?

Options
Daughter wants to make her own - they`re cyber goth culture things , like fake dreadlocks but made out of wool.
She`s been quoted £20 for 1 or £30 a pair, when you think its only wool stuck to bobbles you can see why she wants to make her own.
thanks val

I run my own hair extension business and i often make falls out of wool, if you email me at ancasta@gmail.com with all the questions you have i will pull together a long list of links for you and your daughter to look at and some pointers on the right kind of wool.

Some of the wool used in falls *is* quite expensive and hard to find so the prices she has been quoted do seem on par for a high quality fall or pair, but without seeing the pieces i cant really say if the price is a fair representation of the product on offer.

Oh I knew a girl that had one of those, bought it off ebay for £30. And yes I was thinking 'goodness, it's wool on a bobble, £30!!?!?!' at the time. I think hers was blue wool with clear blue plastic pipes here and there.

If it helps, Poundland are selling all kinds of wool and sets of plastic pipes/glitter pipe cleaners (which I've also seen cyber goths wear curled in their hair).
