Woolies are selling these in there clearout, £23 but comes with carry case and 4 books :)
  • Argos are also doing these for £14.99 (in pink only though I think) if you can find a store where they are still in stock. Think they must be end of line or something because Argos also advertising a similar looking one on their website at full price.

Working on getting rid of Credit Card debt first by paying double minimum payment each month and adding monthly 'Save the Change' pot. Going to give the 'Make £5 a day Challenge' a go!

I got the one from Woolies as above, with carry case and 4 books for £18.97.
  • I tried the Woolworths site but they are unavailable online.
I have bought a Leap pad system plus Thomas and demo book for £24.99 from https://www.bargaincrazy.com. This site also presently has a child's exercise bike for £36.99 reduced from around £69.99 on the price plunge section!

A little word of warning on the leappad writing if I may. We are on our 4th now since XMAS! I keep going back to change it because when you click on the words/picture/etc.. it recognises it as being a different thing which is annoying when my daughter is trying to read the words or numbers and it is telling her something different to what it is. I'll be calling LeapPad now becuase I am fed up with it. It works OK for a few weeks then doesn't work again after a week or so. initially I got told I had to use Duracell in it only but that makes no difference. I just thought I would make you aware.

My first LeapPad though is excellent and ours has had a good few years of battering and abuse and is still going!!
  • Top spot!!

Just got back to my desk from Woolies in Camberwell with their last Leappad Plus Writing bundle - £24.19 at till versus '£15 off - £63.97 down to £48.97' sticker on box. AND they handed over a booklet of Free Entry vouchers for Alton Towers, Thorpe Park etc.

Do ask in-store if you can't see this bundle with the other Leappads - no sign of it until I asked and was taken to a display of bundled offers very high up and needing a ladder to get my sticky mitts on it!

I'm also aware of the Leapfrog products going a bit haywire when the batteries run down - you do need the high capacity Duracell etc or rechargeables to keep them going reliably. Still - you can buy a few batteries for the money saved on this bundle!
