Very quick court date!!

Hi all,

I have printed my completed online forms from the Inslovency Service website and Ive rang Salford County Court.
My court date is next Wednesday at 09:30!!!

I was expecting a date sometime next month or later but I certainly wasnt expecting next week!!!

I just want to ask, Is there anything other than the paperwork (times 3) and the £510 fee that I have to take with me?????

Thanks all.:D

Well done! All I took was the fees and the 3 copies and a good book for if you are left waiting.
    Good luck for next Wednesday.
  • Thanks jammie1!! The guy I spoke to on the phone today to arrange the appointment sounded very understanding and was very helpful so thats a good omen in my book!

Everyone I came into contact with was lovely, even cracking a joke that I laughed at! Would never have believed it the day before. It really is true that the hardest part is making the decision to go br.

Lucky that you were able to get an appointment quickly - I know some people have had to wait. Good to get it over and done with in my opinion. Good luck!
  • sorry to jump on the thread so is it best to ring the court rather than just turn up cos that's what the bloke from the national debt line said

yes its best to ring the court as some run appointment systems and others you just turn up on the day.

Find your local court that does bankruptcies and phone and ask what their procedure is.

The only thing im slightly concerned about is an error in the paperwork but im quite sure it is all ok!!!
