I am making a nut roast for the mother in law (:eek:) on Sat and I have a recipe but, helpfully, just says '200g nuts' on it lol

Pecan and squash are yum
but the great thing with nut roast is its a anything goes kinda dish

ground almonds or cashews are nice for a delicate loaf, walnuts are strong and quite 'meaty' especially if combined with continental lentils, brazils and hazelnuts are sort of in between0
