Bikini Wax

Everyone has their own definition of "small strip" and some clients like less than others - maybe that's de rigeur at your salon?I was brave enough to book myself in for a brazilian bikini wax at the weekend. Very pleased with result, and was nowhere near as painful as I expected. I normally have a "normal" bikini wax but decided to go for a brazilian.
Now I'm not a prude, but I really am naked down there:D I mean, I was expecting "a small strip" but what I have is a v v v v tiny strip - is this right or have I had a Hollywood by mistake:rotfl:
A Hollywood is everything off, front and back. You'd know if you'd had a hollywood

Who really wants to know the intimate details of her muffs trip to the barbers . She says she has a small strip left well what does small mean? Small is subjective. she isnt totally bald so it isnt a hollywood. what do we care we are not going to see the benefit of it and the OP has answered her own question. Its as daft as some of rachels ones about her knicker fetish. one assumes daft threads like this are to attract the amusing coments.
Thing is I can't stand people who sit in their ivory towers and bang on about forum etiquette (and lets face it you know I am referring about the clothes thread and posters being expected to show manners and restraint etc etc) and then can't follow their own advice thats all.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Overwhelming a forum with previously unmentioned subjects, said subjects being of an incredibly self-indulgent and "look at me" nature and not being self-effacing enough to display any kind of awareness of the opinions of others until forced to is what is meant by manners - if not agreeing with everyone is deemed bullying, then heaven help us all.
As has now been proven, lack of manners and respect comes from all sides.
The issue I have with this is that the OP actually wants people to conjur up images of her fanjita. Never mind the wrong forum, it's maybe not the right site...0 -

I could say the same about the depression thread. Why would I want to post on a public forum about any mental health issues I might have? Surely that's just as self indulgent. How about relationship problems in M&R board? That's people saying "look at me and my situation". Again I could construe that as self indulgent. But you know what I don't mind. I don't mind what threads people post because I can choose to read them or I can choose not to. I am perfectly tolerant of many of the thread. Jeez I wasn't even bothered by the threads Ebsay posted in the Arms. But what I do find annoying is people getting terratorial (sp?) over the boards and demanding that they are run a certain way. I just don't get what the big deal is. Can you honestly tell me IF a weekly thread is run you won't then start complaining about all the other clothes threads that get posted? Everything you post leads me to believe that you don't want clothes etc here period. Just because you think talking about clothes etc is shallow and superficial doesn't mean that it is. It's your opinion but when you post snide remarks on the threads and be generally disruptive then I can see why people feel there is an element of bullying by being a wind up merchant.
What is your intention in relation to these sorts of posts? Please I am geniunely interested. Do you hope to put so many people off posting that fashion etc will disappear off the board for good?
You've said many times why you are not happy and yet you continue to complain about it. Can you see that you are targetting the wrong people? It is MSE towers you should badger and not the people who choose to contribute to these threads.
I am pretty sure those that post on the daily thread would LOVE their own board. But they didnt get one. So they are stuck here and perhaps don't like it any more than you do. BUT we all have to rub along here somehow and petty comments on daily threads do not help the situation. All it does is inflame it or is that your ultimate aim?I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Actually I found the OP quite interesting and useful. I am trying to pluck (sorry, not intended as a pun) up courage to have a bikini wax and I now know to be very explicit about how much I want taken off if I have a Brazilian.0

I find your comment offensive - I am not sure why you are posting on this thread unless it is for cheap kicks or to up your post count.
Thanks to the OP, Freyasmum and Alias123 I now know the difference between a Brazilian and a Hollywood. You obviously know this from spending your time looking at magazines that specialise in that sort of photography.
I am now unsubscribing from this thread.0 -
