Edinburgh - any vouchers?

Options
Hi everyone,

We're going to Edinburgh for our honeymoon and going to the military tattoo (we don't like heat!).

Anyone know if there's any vouchers on the net for attractions in Edinburgh, or even meals? We would like to go to Edinburgh Zoo and will be eating out probs every evening and lunch during the day, vouchers would help!

Cheers
Marie

If you have Tesco points saved up you can get vouchers for the Zoo and save a lot. There are other Edinburgh and local attractions listed too on the Tesco site.

The local tourist office will have tons of brochures for all the local sights, with discounts for a lot of them. They have day rover tickets as well for 1, 3 or 5 day passes into all the top attractions.

Look on the back of bus tickets...lots of 2-4-1 offers there. You can get a day bus pass for £2.20 (ish...might have gone up recently) or the open topped bus tours are hop-on hop-off.

And look on the back of the freebie tourist maps you get from the Tourist Info Office too.

We have all the usual chains of eateries like Slug and Lettuce etc so check that sort of website.

There is also this site... and this one.

Anywhere else specific you want to go? Might jog my memory a bit.
    Val.

the buses in edinburgh often have vouchers on the back of them so that's worth a look whilst there (actually every year they seem to have some for teh zoo!)

also there is a pizza express on north bridge as well as one down near holyrood and they frequently run offers you just print off the voucher so try their website

if you try googling voucher edinburgh or along those lines you may find a good deal of things

also if you like comedy the stand has great offers on the weekend and i believe they still do a free show on sundays so why not try their website to have a look

if you like a bit of climbing then you can visit holyrood park and climb arthurs seat and/or salisbury crags for a free and amazing view!

our dynamic earth (right next to holyrood) is a fun experience and is cheap but you could check their website as they often have offers on

best of luck with the wedding and i hope you love edinburgh it's a lovely city!

Also on the restaurant deals section you have money off Zizzi and slug and lettuce, also in edinburgh.
Last minute.com also have vouchers for jouglers half price and edinburgh dungeons, and some other things in Edinburgh.
Someone on another thread mentioned the scotman sometimes do free tickets for the fringe- dont know if this is current or not.
Also have a look at the free cinema tickets thread as often there are lots of free tickets for edinburgh film previews.
