which lenders for mortages???

    Havent gone to a broker as am first time buyer & unsure what to do.
    Possibly the best reasons you could give for using a whole of market broker.

    You need to speak to a broker, take your credit file with you and they can find a suitable lender and product.

    I would refer you to the earlier posts. They only accept applications from their panel packagers, who can only accept applications from brokers.

    Most brokers can technically access Beacon through a packager. Some brokers have limited panels due to working from an estate agent or if their network insists on only using one packager which might not have access to Beacon products.

    You are generally going to be better off dealing with a broker with experience dealing with this lender as they prefer cases to be presented in a certain way otherwise you can find things drag on.

    Also - Beacon rates are dramatically different/better at 75% vs. 80% so if you can somehow increase your deposit this will make a big difference.

    In addition, I wouldnt automatically assume that Beacon are still the only option for you. A good broker might be able to place you with a suitable lender at cheaper rates once they have full details of your circumstances and a copy of your experian report.
