After reading on the website whether i should pay off some of my morgage or invest my money into a saving account i worked out that i would save more money paying off my morgage. Does this rule apply to interest only morgages tho? I currently have enough money to pay my morgage for six months if i had to and have maxed out my cash isa, so is paying off my interest only morgage with the other cash i have better than investing it in a low percentage savings account? I would be grateful for anyones help, thankyou.

All other things being equal, it make sense to pay off debt rather than save if your debt charges higher APR than you can earn (after tax) on your savings.
As long as your interest only mortgage allows you to make overpayments then the rule will apply.0
