We can no longer import food at the rates we have done...we will need to start growing more of our own food. People in here knew this long ago :rolleyes:

I saw that news item too and it made me smile.
I have already started growing my own fruit and veg and DH has been sent a scrumpin' We are going hedgerow hunting tomoz.
Make my own jams,chutneys and pickles.
To top that chuckled when Hilary Benn said that we have to go back to wartime ways of thinking......Been doing that for a year.

I also think it is funny.....now we are not all going to be wiped out by swine flu, we are now going to starve to death....Hmmmmm me thinks the silly season is upon us (political holidays;))
