Jewlerry for very hair arms!

I know I can spell it lol.

Any one have an idea as to what type of bracelets would go best for a hairy morsel like me? I love the dainty things but they just don't suit me as I look like a monkey!!

I would like to be able to wear some sort of bracelet on the day if I can.

Why not have your arms waxed if you are that hairy?

If you have your arms waxed (swimmers do it and cyclists) then you can wear whatever bracelet you like then.

i shave my arms aswell debs! just my forearms though, not all the way up haha. im blonde so you cant really see the hair anyway but i cant stand having hairy arms

of course once u start, u have to keep it up otherwise they'll be all yucky and stubbly!

If you're going to go down the hair removal route then definately wax don't shave and get a practice run a long time before the wedding !
As for a bracelet it depends on what your dress is like of course but perhaps pearls instead of crystals if you intend on going 'au naturel' ,a delicate crystal bracelet is going to draw atention to your arms where perhaps a chunkier pearl version would draw attention to itself. And most importantly don't worrry about your arms! wear what you like and feel comfortable in, no one will be looking at your arms they'll be too busy noticing how lovely you look.

Well, I would avoid small beads and a gappy bracelet so your hairs don't go peeking through... Other than that depends on your dress really... Here's a few picture ideas

Wow I love the last one!

If they bother you then do consider waxing them... If you're happy then wear whatever the hell you want - hairs or no!
    I love surprises!

are the hairs on your arms dark?
if so and you don't want to go down the hair removal route then you could always buy some Jolene which is a bleaching cream for body hair, it worked a treat on my friend before she went on holiday and its not very expensive last a while too.
  • Hi there, I have really dark hair on my arms and I use jolen bleach. It works a treat, I don't have to keep getting it waxed or shaving it either. It is really easy to mix and apply and takes about 10 minutes to do. I would seriously recommend it as it is a great option for just one time eg your wedding day. I am having a one row diamante bracelet on the day

  • I had really dark fairly course hair on my arms. had them waxed a couple of times and it has grown back much finer and lighter. if you get them waxed get it done as far in advance as you can i.e now for a wedding next year and see how it grows back so you can decide if its worth getting them waxed regularly to ensure smooth arms on the day.

I might go down the jolen route. Although arms is a huge area to do! How long does it take? And how long does it last for?
  • Hi Rebekah, it takes about 15 minutes. The box comes with a little spreader which makes it easier to apply. I have used this since I was a teenager and I'm 29 now. It costs about £5 I think, I have been using the same box for ages because you just make up what you need, and it does go a long way!

If you want to know anything else let me know
