Hi
Thanks to everyone who has helped so far :T
My best option with going BR regarding my morgaged home is to keep it if poss. Got looking at this in hand with some support. Got a problem though...
I have no cenral heating or hot running water, it broke a year ago, and I can't go through another winter with one gas fire in the whole house. It also casued condensation problems in the house, which still exist and ruined much of the decor. I have no money to fix it right now, and obviously cant get a loan as will be applying for BR in next month ish.

- Will I be allowed some kind of income allowance to save up to get this work done (it is essential) or additional allowance for having to use a gas fire (its soooo much more expensive than when I used the cenral heating only - and I like a cool home!)
- Do you get any kind of income allownece to maintain your home, for essential repaires/purchases etc? I have no cooker or washing machine as they broke and are "not ecconomical to repair". Trying to save for 2nd hand ones (penny jar and saving any £2 coins I get - £41 so far)
