What is the easiest and hopefully cheapest way of getting copies of my last years bank statements prior to bankruptcy?
I bank with Barclays and am unable to get them online dating more than a month back so unsure what to do now.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
If you do not have them than the OR will be able to request it. You should not have to spend money on the copies. Just tell your OR that You don't have them and believe me they will not bite your head off.
On the other hand if you need the copies for personal use ie. calculating or checking on something than you will have to pay your bank.
I hope I was some help .If not than somebody more knowledgeble will come in no time.
Good luck.

Correct, the OR can get them if they need them, so don't spend any time or money getting them your self.single+2angel wrote: »Hi,

Couple of years ago I asked Barclays & they quoted me something like £6-8 for each statement.....left it for the OR to source that way costs nothing & the banks wont ignore the receiversWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

Copy statements are free if you are going bankrupt, £5 per order for everyone else.0

Could do a DPA disclosure for a tenna. They should send you absolutely everything they have on file for you then as I understand it, including statements

If you are wanting to get the statements for the OR please save your money. As said by everyone above - OR can get them if you don't have them.

Many thanks for all your replies.
As well as for bankruptcy, I need them to prove tax credit overpayment repayments from January till present day were paid as they have lost my records yet again and I need the proof asap.
Just want no nasty suprises once I've gone BR.
Thanks in advance.
