  • Went to Tesco in Bury again this morning SA , said she had never heard of customers being allowed to use Farm food coupons, her mate who was taking over said neither had she, she went to check with supervisor who said we couldn`t use it despite me telling them I had used them before, went to customer services only to see the same Sa was now on CS, gave up emailed the Chaiman, I know he doesnt deal with thimgs himself but I did get a phone call from a very helpful chap who said he had spoken to the store manager who was going to bring company policy ( which I seen elswhere on ms.com) to the attention of all staff and he has sent me a copy of the policy, as I said to him customers shouldn`t have to mess about like this, lets see some consistency in Tesco stores.

  • Funny enough was in Horwich last night collecting some photos, we had DM vouchers but oh didn`t fancy doing a "big" shop so we just used 1 coupon, which didn`t scan but the lad on the till knew what he was doing just wrote on it "didn`t scan" and knocked the money off, good service, pity they can`t all be like that.
  • The official list given to tesco staff stating which store's vouchers are accepted definitely does not include Farmfoods. It does however include Boots which i was unaware of :j
  • I have now had two email from Tesco, one via the chief execs office staing they will take farm foods coupons as long as the correct amount has been spent, the lady from customer services said she had suffered the same problem herself an d had to bring thge policy to the attention of the store .
Quote....."I understand how frustrating this is as I have experienced problems with the Farmfoods voucher myself in store and had to have the staff check this again too."
  • Sounds like the usual story of one person saying one thing etc etc. The list given to staff lists the supermarkets which are included and farmfoods definitely isn't on there so they should stick to that or add it to the list
  • Good luck to anyone trying to use these in Tesco. I have tried two local stores and none of them are willing to accept them. The reason, they both say, is because there is no bar code.
