Quidco & NEXT

I'm not sure if this it the right place to put this - please move if it isn't.
I brought a whole bunch of stuff in the NEXT sale - but i didn't go through quidco because i thought it wouldn track VIP sale items. I now know that apparently they will track them!! (Silly me )
My question is, if i go through quidco to pay my NEXT bill will quidco track it? or does it only track when you actually go through the "checkout"?
Any ideas anyone??
