Just come back from shopping. Noticed that Sports World (Soccer Sports in some places) had Karrimor Jackets - waterproofs - for £14.99, reduced from £149.00. They're grey and blue, some were blue and grey, in colour. Hip length, but mainly L and XL in sizes. Tried one but it didn't fit me too well (Ahem!...I'm a bit broad in the hips!!) otherwise would've grabbed one. They also had some Karrimor fleeces for £7.49, blue, sizes S - XL.
Enjoy
Cheers :j

The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

Couldn't see these in Regent's Road, Salford. They had thin Karrimore macs for £11, only waist length, wanted a hip length one!0

Believe me, these were never £149. Karrimor isn't a good quality brand. It used to be, but they went out of business and Sports Soccer bought the name for clothes.0

I got one in Bury for about £37 a few weeks ago, it has a zip out fleece so you get 2 jackets in one. Whilst they may never have gone for £149 they are certainly a high standard and more than adequate for the bit of outdoor activity I do. Similar jackets are well over £100 in Black's.
I used to work for Karrimor as a student, they were a local company and whilst they have gone into liuidation I don't think their quality was a problem, just the competition from the far east that affected profits.0 -
is this the place?

I ordered some karrimor shoes and a fleece from there 10 days ago.
I called them yesterday to ask about the order, they told me it will be despatched on Monday.
Then I got a letter from them this morning to say they were out of stock of the fleece, and I'd get a refund.
They were in stock when I ordered though, they were waiting for a t-shirt to arrive before they sent my order.
Maybe I should call them Monday0 -

I ordered the same things 10 days ago and also got an email yesterday re the fleece. Think I will phone tommorrow and cancel the shoes as I got a pair from one of their branches and they are okay (for £20.99) but I am skeptical about the original price of £69.99 - you can get Salomon, La Sportiva, Meindl, Raichle, Scarpa and other good approach shoes for less than that at full retail price (and a lot less [£35 to £50] if you shop around)."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

I called them again. They had given me a date the 24th for a tshirt to be in stock, now they say it probably will get posted this week, and they are fairly sure the items are in stock now, but I was not allowed to add to the order I have even to replace the fleece they removed. And they were waiting until today to confirm that the fleece was not obtainable from their suppLIARS.
If there was abranch out my way I'd get the shoes and cancel the order0 -
I bought two of these 2 weeks ago. Used em over easter in Yarmouth where tje wind blows hard and cold. They kept me warm, bargain if you ask me. Not stupid enough to believe anyone would pay £150 for one but still cheap nonetheless.
They have walking trainers for 20 quid too!0
