    Sunday already *sigh*

OH and his friend must have been pished as farts last night as the kitchen was in a right state when I got up, an all the lights downstairs were left on:mad:

They obviously decided to have a couple of pies with gravy and I think they must have had a gravy fight or something:rolleyes:

I am in a right grump too as I feel like washing my head out in soapy water as I am all sore throat and blocked up with a throbbing headache.

On a positive note I finally managed to place my £50 free bet netting myself around £39:D

Checked quidco and I have put an enquiry in for a bookie that still hasnt tracked for £20.

I have also decided to do something a bit risky...............

When I booked my hols for next year via Thomas Cook I took out one of their credit cards to pay the deposit as I will gain points against any TC holiday or currency. You get 1point for every £100 spend at TC or 0.5 point for every £100 spent in other stores.

I have decided to use this card for all my spending and pay it off in full the following month, I have paid for the fridge and the house insurance and have the money put away to pay it straight off.

Now I am doing the same for groceries, petrol and also Christmas. My plan is that all of these points will build up to around £50 once I pay the balance of the holiday on it and that will go towards our holiday money.??

    Thoughts anyone:confused:

Check to see how much the points are worth. It may be that some other "reward card" offers better benefits.

The points are worth £1 Zed so for every £100 in TC I get £1 in points and for every £100 spend with other providors its 50p:D

This one is probably better then - and it's real money so you can spend it anywhere not only at Thomas Cook.

Thanks for that Zed, I shall certainly look into that one:beer: I think I will time it for when my holiday balance is due then I will get the full £100 cash back on the £2000

Just make sure you attend to the T&C's in terms of minimum spend (£3000) and using it regularly.

You can always use it for your holiday, buy your weekly shop on it for a while, then close it.
