Ha! Just got a letter from A&L (aka robbing bastwerts due to an £80 charge for being overdrawn by about 50p ) and as I have failed to pay in over £500 a month they are going to start charging me a £5 a month admin fee on my account.............they can eff off!

I am writing to close the account but it will be a pain as I have another online savings account linked to it but doable.

Now, how can I word this "close my account" letter..............

Not a clue, but that is our family all over, say nowt, hide your troubles and then when the bombshell hits it causes mass shock and ultimate distruction.

  • Oh Lou, its just so unfair how things seem to happen at once.

I wish I wasn't hungover so I could write something a bit more useful.

THe world isn't crumbling tho, just a little battered. Do Brother and GF have kids?

Thankfully no kids but I really like his girlfriend, apparantly he hasnt been happy for a long time, wonderful timing though but I guess this would be hard no matter when it was.
