Consent To Lease - Second Mortgage

Hi guys - I am about to go onto a Consent to Lease mortgage as I have just moved in with my girlfriend and I'm in negative equity - servicing the monthly repayment is fine and the rent will cover the monthly repayments by the required 120%.
Thing is we will probably be having a kid soon and will be looking to get a house together - with my girlfriend selling her flat and using her equity to fund a deposit and my wages to fund the mortgage(as she's at uni now).
But the question is will I be able to do this as the mortgage is on a Consent to Lease rather than a Buy to Let - I think that the current mortgage will not be affected as they wouldn't be doing a credit check but would the second mortgage company be OK with this - what proof might they want?
Cheers - A

I can't see why you wouldn't be able to do that - surely it would be just like getting a BTL mortgage wouldn't it.0
