feel sick

hi i really need some advice

i have maxed out my overdrafts so cant afford food or bills this month, ive never done this before. i filled in an enquiry form on a website and they seem to have sold my details on to other companies that wont stop ringing me about loans and have searched my credit rating wihtout my permission it would seem, so i now have a poor credit rating. i wanted to take out a loan to sort myself out but i ave been declined now because of my poor rating. does any one have any suggestions? i havent slept for days

thanks

Are you working? How did things get to this state?
If you have money come in, you can probably cut your outgoings to help clear your debt.
If you really have no food, sell some possessions on ebay or similar.

    Hi and welcome.

Well done for making this first big step, was feeling same as you at the beginning of the week. £22,000 of debt which was mounting, couldn't tell hubby cause I was afraid he would leave me. But all the lovely folk on here have pointed me in right direction. Have told hubby, who's standing by me(fingers crossed on that), been in touch with cccs about a dmp and reduced some out going already.
Someone far smarter will be along shortly to help you out. /Sit tight and stay strong.:kisses:

If this is a one off, can you not speak to the bank. Surely they can sort something out. You can't manage hun wit no money for 3 weeks.
Keep watching someone will be along with a solution, just may take a few hours. Some on here are night owls, so check in the morn wen ya get up.

I know that you should not add to your debt but you can apply for a sub-prime credit card that are for people with poor credit rating such as Aqua,Capital One and Vanquis. I would use the card only to buy food and pay back in full at the end of the month.

25 pounds cashback when you get a Vanquis card through Quidco.

  • May I suggest opening a bank account with another bank - have your wages paid into it, and pay your bills out of it.
Then you can concentrate on repaying your overdraft at an affordable rate, without starving!

If you phone the companies who you owe bills to, they will probably allow you a month's grace - tell them you are swapping banks and expect the direct debits to go awry!

The last thing *I* would recommend is more debt - unless you can borrow perhaps £100 from friends or family just until you get paid?
