Best time to complete?

Hi, I am looking at completing on my purchase property around the end of this month. My mortgage is with Yorkshire Bank. My nominated payment date for mortgage is the 5th of every month, the money will be taken from by bank account on the 1st of each month so it gets to YB on time for the 5th.
Question is, when is the best time to complete on the house so I get the longest run possible before my first payment?
