Supermarket's own brand dishwasher liquid

Options
Haven't been able to find any supermarket's own brand dishwasher liquid these last few weeks, only Finish.
Anyone know what's going on?

mysupermarket.co.uk seem to indicate Asda, Sainsburys and Waitrose all should carry one, Tesco don't seem to have one. Unsure if they are not on the shelves if it is for a specific reason.
I remember seeing one in Lidl but not sure if they still sell it or Aldi might.

I've been checking Asda frequently over several weeks, and Sainsbury, Tesco, Coop, Lidl & Aldi occasionally, but found only liquid Finish. Have never had problem finding the liquid before.

Is it the price you are concerned about - the likes of quality save, home bargains and maybe the poundshop/poundland will have the likes of finish on their shelves at much cheaper prices than in the supermarkets.

It's simply that I prefer the liquid to the tablets.
I've always found supermarket's 'own brand' liquid for dishwashers until the last couple of months, since when it's disappeared from the shelves.
Incidentally, I've never found it at local Aldi or Lidl; haven't checked Waitrose as nearest is 25+ miles round trip away.

    I've been Money Tipped!
think supermarkets trying to make more money but reducing their own brands. I used to buy a litre of own brand washing up liquid for 13p (ideal for hand clothes washing etc) and now it has been discontuinted the nearest is 500ml and 69p quite a difference.

Also bleach used to be 19p now much more.

Just a wayto fleece us more. Now I get a lot more at Wilkinsons/QD etc as washing up liquids etc much cheaper even good brands

One thing that really cheesed me off about the supermarkets was in relation to the pricing of washing up liquid. Before the credit crunch, all the the major supermarkets sold washing up liquid in the 1L bottle for the incredible price of 13p...remember those tall bottles of washing up liquid.

Now those greedy !!!!!!s sell the same liquid in a 500 ml bottle and they are around 40p. So much for looking out for the customer when we really need it.

I buy own brand tablets from Wilkinson, I'm sure they'll do liquid. Tablets easier as kids can do it without much mess!
