[Edit 2] So it looks like if you subscribe by direct debit you have to pay nothing now but if you pay by debit or credit card you have to pay upfront and claim a refund

Dennis are 100% reliable at cancelling of these free offers. I get them all the time and have never had a problem - in fact when I ring to cancel (you can't do it online) they offer me other mags. So well worth it.

i was wondering this too because i remember a while ago when the BBC were doing 3 mags (one a month) for a pound. When i got the first mag i cancelled the direct debit but i never recieved anymore mags

@spora f you cancel the direct debiot they're obviously going to stop sending you the mag... !

No.

The last time I did The Week, I cancelled early so I wouldnt forget & they immediately stopped sending me the mag. Just put it in your diary. They send a note after the first couple of issues to tell you what date the money will come out, so cancel it a couple of days before that.
I really love that mag, just wish it was cheaper for a subscription.
