Where can I buy household ammonia?

Reading online people seem to find all sorts of uses for ammonia (ink stains, oven cleaning) but you have to be careful . Lots of warnings to wear gloves. I suppose it can burn your skin if undiluted. It also stinks like stale urine because that's what stale urine produces.

I'm looking it up as one recipe for a home made carpet cleaning solution uses it (used diluted from 1 tablespoon in half a litre of water, along with other ingredients like wup-liq).
Most carpet shampoos don't seem to work very well or are very expensive.
I haven't found an affordable one that does the job.

I know this is an old thread but I'm looking for something to cycle my fish tank and I need some pure ammonia. Does anyone sell it these days?

I've just found some on ebay. In case anyone else is looking and comes across this thread it's called Kleen Off Household Ammonia.

I've been trying to source this cheaply locally to no avail. It's expensive online! Anyone know where we can get it from now?

I remember using it to clean the oven 20 plus years ago.......left it overnight and all the plants in the kitchen were dead next morning,. be careful.
