    If you have a company car and pay your own petrol what amount can you claim back for using the car for company use?

    I've recently filled out my p87 for tax relief, but my colleague has a question.

    On the form it states that any expenses claimed exceeding £2500 must fill in a self assessment form.

    Now ... is that expenses claimed from my employer or the expenses I'm claiming tax relief on?

    Any ideas?
