Shoes _ I'm now seriously considering bare feet

I am surrounded by shoes that I've bought that have to go back. I cannot find the right pair. As well as the ones I've tried on in shops, some bought and then returned I still have 5 pairs to return. I wanted dainty gold /champagne strappy sandals and thought I'd found the perfect pair but when they turned up they had a 5" heel. Yes I can walk in them but I'd be 6'2" and H2B is only 5'11" so theyre out. Have now moved from gold to ivory to look but I've got over 400 pages of history in my searching just from today and I've had enough
Any ideas, I fly out for my wedding 2 weeks tomorrow!
Oh and I still have to find jewellery, flowers and a cake

Sorry Kazmeister can't offer any help except to say I was exactly the same when I got married! Shoes were my absoloute nightmare! We got married 2 and a half years ago and I found an unreturned pair in the loft the other day! So they're now on ebay but I can't tell you how many I went through, I think it's worse when you know what you want! I did end up with the perfect pair though that I actually found on ebay in the end so pesevere as it will be worth it! Good luck!0

how about these? I got these few months ago in Next and mine are a dark ivory/champagne colour in the bridal section.0 -
I'm getting married barefoot. Serious. It's just congruant with my beliefs and desires. Nothing wrong with barefoot wedding. Unless you're getting married in a volcano!

Thanks for the link
I actually saw a pair of those in Peterborough and picked them up but I think with my colouring I need gold or ivory (which is our colour scheme as well)
These are the sandals I adore but they are too high - I need a heel high of about 2 - 3" (and I hate kitten heels)

I am usually a flip flops and jeans person so to dress up for my wedding will be lovely and it would be a shame to go down the bare feet route, but the shoes have to be right.
Thanks for all the replies so far

My dress is shorter at the front so my feet will be seen

Thanks ziri
They are nice shoes but they're not me.
Decided as a second best to get the same as our daughter - flat sandals! Theyre nice but the looking is getting me down now, that and the shoes piling up to send back!
My son went into town this afternoon so I asked him to go into Monsoon and see if they had a pair in my size which he told me they did, so I trecked into town to find the ones he was talking about were a different style hung at the back of the ones I wanted . I then tried accessorize and they didnt have them either. Trecked home again and have found them in my size on the net so they are now ordered and on their way hopefully.

I'll bet a pair that I would consider first choice will jump out at me now
