Hi,
Can I just point out the Forum RulesPERSONAL DETAILS AND THE OFFERING OF ITEMS FOR SALE/TRADE/EXCHANGE/SWAP/GIFTS
Please refrain from requesting the exchange of personal details either on the forum, via PM or email; particularly for the purposes of selling/trading/exchanging/swapping or giving as gifts. This includes posting links to your ebay auctions, or other forms of advertising.
If someone appears to be selling items on the board it may be deleted by the board guides/forum team. The aim is to protect site users as however honourable the intention, your safety is paramount.
I am moving your post to the "Cutting Tax" board where you might get a quicker reply.Torgwen.....................

If you are employed write to your local tax office and let them know how much you pay (possibly include evidence) and all your payroll details ni number etc.
you can go back for up to 6 years too.
if it just for this year they may change your tax code rather than give a cheque, if its for 6 years they will definately give a cheque
hope that helps0 -

Not definately. You may get an extra item in your code called an Earlier Years Adjustment, which will increase your code, therefore giving you the releif due for the earlier years through your normal pay.0 -
There is a list on the HMRC website which is useful to refer to.0
