Only for US residents I believe.. :(

T&Cs state "Promotion open to registered members of https://www.PayPal.com (the "PayPal Site") who are legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older and whose account on the PayPal Site are in good standing ("Eligible Participants")." >:(

Another annoyance - having just been looking at iTunes for the first time today (got a 40GB iPod for Xmas ;D) why is it we have to pay £0.79 for a song, whereas if we could download from the US site it would only cost ~£0.52? >:(

Same with albums - £7.99 UK store, ~£5.20 US store. Shop pricing is one thing, but this much difference for a download?!

  • I too received an iPod for Christmas - which has been well wortht he investment!! One thing I have been deissappointed with though is the choice of music on sites like iTunes especially if you prefer music which isn't in the charts.

I found https://www.bleep.com which has a large selection of electronic music at 99p a track and £6.99 an album which is very reasonable for an album. So far their service has been fast and reliable. Anyway it might interest someone.

Also HMV now do downloads - 50 tracks for £5 a month and if you sign up now you get an extra 10 tracks free. ;D
  • cool :) thanks for all the help
