HSBC - how long?

Hi all
We've applied, via phone for a HSBC home owner loan (as opposed to a mortgage) and had a 'decision in principle' - we got the forms through and returned them with payslips etc. We've just received the originals of everything back so assume they don't require anything more in that respect.
Just wondering, does anyone know what happens now and more importantly, how long till the money goes into the account (which we opted to do).
Thanks in advance
