Looks very good, if you upgraded the RAM to 2GB it would run quite smoothly. If I hadn't got one I probally would have bought it.0

Low chipset, low ram, no graphics card, for an extra £100 there's some lovely dual core's out there as discussed in other threads

It looks like £50 off their price on the website http://www.ebuyer.com/product/1590810

That looks like a decent machine to me: speed is OK, disk is adequate, memory is OK, DVD writer, Wi-Fi, SD card slot(!).
For £219 delivered, it's hard to beat.0 -
Not that this is hugely relevant (!!) but my husband bought the same model with the core 2 duo processor and is loving it!!Heard the Shaggy Taxi Wind Up Phone Call?
Visit my Shaggy videos on Youtube - search for Rhyburgh1 - now over 700,00 views - bring on the million!! Enjoy.0 -

There are always some who miss the very important point of someone's budget being limited.
Notwithstanding the fact that a 'high powered' laptop may not even be required.0 -
Holds hands up - I got involved in the 'other' laptop thread but that was a £170 refurbished machine with 512k RAM, 40GB HDD and 30 days warranty! Could have proved a very expensive mistake (and that isn't money saving no matter how little the initial purchase price). This, however, is a cracking deal. £20 tops for another gig of RAM (if you really want to) and this is all set up for low cost laptop computing.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
I was there too... and I agree - this is a good deal. Way better than the other - and that extra gig won't be necessary to most looking at a laptop at this end of the scale.1carminestocky wrote: »Holds hands up - I got involved in the 'other' laptop thread but that was a £170 refurbished machine with 512k RAM, 40GB HDD and 30 days warranty!
