My kitchen mixer tap is indesperate need of replacement, we've been using a screwdriver to turn the hot on for two weeks and the screw is well rounded now. Going to pop down to our Lidl in a bit to see if they have them

They had a few in Hinckley Lidl, it looks ok but now we have no clue how to change a tap!

We got one of these a year or so ago when they were 14.99 and we've had no problems with it whatsoever. Amazing for the price!
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? He's a mile away and you've got his shoes.

I was thinking the same thing! Have you got yours fitted yet? Hope it wasn't too difficult.

    Noooo! :(

The instructions on putting the tap together are fabulous until you get to the bit where you connect it to your water mains where it just says "connect tap to the water supply" lol

We're going to call a plumber tomorrow unless someone here know any in the Hinckley area

Thank you, have been looking at these for ages, and was put off by the price. Even better, when I went in to Lidl's, they had under-cupboard halogen lights for £8.99 each, and snapped them up too for our new kitchen. Very happy, but broke now. Lol!

sorry folks, we bought one last year and it didn't last a week! I think the pressure was too high for it as the insert in the tap kept coming off until I got fed up and it is now in a bowl on the windowsill. I'm saving up for a quality one instead.. I think it all depends on your water pressure... although it says not suitable for low pressure... it ain't suitable for high pressure either !
  • Mine works but the hot water just trickles out and takes ages to fill a basin, I think it is our water pressure and not the tap though.
