Morning everyone! PHUT!!!! was expecting OH wages in the bank today but they havent gone in - looks like it will be tomorrow, bummer tho coz i was planning on nipping to town at lunch to pay phone bill and some other stuff thats WAYYYY overdue, nipped on Jammydodgers thread yesterday - has a great tip of saving £5 per wee for emergencies then whatever is left out of the weekly budget! Thats gonna start for me from TODAY, also started saving ma 20p's and coppers and 5ps aswell.
Still, staying positive today, brough my lunch to work so nothing to spend on that !
Got a grand total of about 6.29 in my bank until tomorrow - but do have about £20 in my purse....
OH just let me know will be in tomorrow so thats ok, just another day I guess.
Hows everyone doing?
Didnt have time to mention to my Dad about half this month and half next month but will do when i see him - not seen him properly for a few days so just waiting for the opportunity :-)Focusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0 -
Morning Dotty how are you this morning?
Bad news about the wages fingers crossed they will arrive tomorrow. We get paid on Friday and it's also hubbies MOT (well not his actual MOT although pretty sure he could do with one lol) so once I know the outcome of that will need to sit down and sort this months budget.
Really hoping to make a nice healthy over payment this month fingers crossed.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Morning doodledoo, hes got his wage slip and the moneys going in tomorrow so it will give me a chance to fiddle about with the budget, even with only giving my dad half this month and half the next month its still gonna be a tight month as im getting straight on bills that are way overdue, also going to get all my stuff together and do a long overdue car boot sale.
Got to be really strict coz i need to save spending money for the 'holiday' too !!!!
Hows things going with you? Fingers crossed for the MOT hunFocusing on clearing the credit cards in 2018 :T0 -
helloooo:)
thought i would pop over to your thread and catch up with your news!!
i know what you mean about needing a holiday! this year i am taking the kids camping again during summer holidays. i think campsite will cost me about £105, and i will need money for food. this year i am taking a tuck box so i dont have to keep dishing out money left right and centre for the kids sweets. its nice to have something to look forward to!:)November NSD's - 70 -

Go Dots!
Go through that house like a whirlwind - be ruthless! Get big stuff in the small ads, more chance of it going. Plus it's free, so why not try that route first, before having to pay Ebay fees.
Don't forget to take some time out for yourself - all this taking over the world will wear you down - nice bath, play some soft music, and tll the kids to only disturb you if someone's on fire.
You rock! You can do it. You will do it!!This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
