3 Defaults... Please Help!!!

Hi.
Am new to the board and I hope someone can help me... Need pointing in the right direction.
Basically just applied for a mortgage and was rejected and advised contact Experian so I did and 3 defaults appear on there, 2 of which are satisfied.
O2
Defaulted: 09/04/2005
Default Balance £568
Current Balance £568
Contacted them today and they said they will satisfy the account as closed if I pay the 50% of the balance. Should I pay it and then ask for default to be removed?
T-Mobile
Defaulted: 10/01/2005
Default Balance: £104
Current Balance: Satisfied
Can I apply to get this removed? If so what is my first step?
Barclaycard
Defaulted: 28/05/2004
Default Balance: £700
Current Balance: Satisfied
Can I apply to get this removed? If so what is my first step?
All of which were done in my early teens not realising my mistakes and the damage it would affect me now.
Like I say I was turned down for a mortgage and the girlfriend thinks its due not having a credit history at all let alone the above and I cant bear to tell her.... Ouch!!!
Any information appreciated!!!

Defaults stay of your file for 6 years from date of default and if they were put on correctly I am not sure you can get them removedTOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0

If you actually did default, then no you can not get them removed as the information is accurate
Sorry but there is not much you can do, but it does seem petty they refused a mortgage on such small sum, from so long ago.
The only hope/question left is did you actually owe those amounts at the time of the defaults? if a default quotes the wrong amount, it, at least in theory, can be removed as the default is invalid, but that in itself is a long fight.Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

The only thing you can do is add a notice of correction if you have any evidence that the default wasnt your fault

I guess you could ask O2 to remove it and use bargaining as a tool (even though you owe it) If they agree get it in writing first.
The others I think the best option is to write to them asking them to remove the defaults. Be as polite as you can and explain that you were young and did not realise the impact this would have on your life. Sometimes if you are lucky enough to get a nice person at the end of the letter they might just do it. Otherwise you are going to have to wait till April 2011 before re applying for a mortgage. Also only send a letter if your current credit payments are good otherwise nobody will believe that you have cleaned up your act. If they are not good (good is showing status 0s) then now is the time to sort them out.
Also best come clean with your girl friend about everything. You never know her credit file might not be that good either.
Good luck0
