  • at the moment we are, this week have had so much s*** thrown in our direction regarding her not sure I could ever be polite to her or regarding her. I understand they are my OH kids who didn't ask to be in this situation and we have to pay for then (which we always have) and don't have a prob with that, my prob is her swaning off to bingo, going abroad all the time and we can't even afford a weeked away to devon. Now having probs with OH and Ex DIVORCE(she being awkard again). On a plus note, I have a wonderful little boy who always cheer you up and I slept all night so feeling a lot more like myself today.
  • Hello Munchkin, it is worrying, the whole CSA system is not adequate at the moment, neither for NRP or PWC. I think your suggestion of a part time job for yourself is the best solution. That way your fiances other three children don't do without and your finance will know he is doing what is right for them, and you'll be able to give extra for your child too. CS will not be forever. I think in this day in age, there are very few parents who can afford the luxury of staying home full time anyway, CSA or no CSA. I can suggest working in a school, I did it and its a brilliant way of not missing out on holidays with the children. If you work 16 plus hours a week, you'll qualify for a good amount of working tax credit, which will help your household no doubt.

    Good luck.

Thanks for all the information, bascially we are screwed and i will have to go back to work and miss my child growing up. OH has spoken to CSA tonight and has been told to appeal, any help appreciated on what to write.

On what grounds would you appeal ?

If the assessment has been done correctly there would be no grounds for appeal !
