Has anyone got any new updates on this? I sent my first letter off, after 3 weeks they did not send me my terms and conditions, I have now sent the second letter giving them an additional 30 days.
In the mean time I have also lost my job and am recieving letters from the banks debt collector, and both the banks and there debt collector have been helping themselves to money from my account which they claim is within there right according to the terms and conditions, not that I'd now as they wont/have'nt sent me a copy.

After reading this I have my letter in hand to send off. I am a little worried about it all but I'm going to give it a go.
Anyone else doing this please keep us informed.
Thanks :beer:0 -

Dear Sir
I write in regards any credit agreements I have with your company.
Please could you supply to me within 12 days a true copy of any credit agreements that I may hold with your company. I enclose a postal order for 1 pound. This pound is the statutory fee allowed for this request.
Please note, if no agreement is received by me in 52 days, I will presume that none exist.

You took the loan and you aggreed to the terms and conditions of the loan, and to all intents and purposes its not a credit shark loan but one from a normal high street bank.
You want to get out of paying it back. That, unless you are in dire fanancial hardship is wriggling out of paying your debts. It may be lawfull but its imorral and not the kind of thing that decent people do.
Sure we have to use consumer law to protect the masses but what you are saying is that its ok to exploit technicalities to allow those who cant afford to get what they want and who cares about who is going to pay for it.
If we never lived in a society where people who couldnt afford things had easy access to money to pay for them we wouldnt be in this mess, that is the problem.
If you cant afford to pay for it (and dont have a job) dont bother with it, that may be harsh but its reality and thats whats sadly missing with many people nowadays.
Maybe with all their resources the banks could actually check that people can repay loans a little better? The banls are the ones making access easy.
If people who can't afford a loan weren't having them (and CCs ) fired at them from all angles ..they wouldn't have any wriggling to do. They wouldn't be in debt and would have to save.

I lend you 10 quid, you are a day late paying it back...I write to you about it...I add 35 quid to the debt for my admin costs for writing the letter. It may be lawfull but its imoral and not the kind of thing that decent people do.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I am thinking about pulling out of this, I think it's all over my heard. I had someone phone me, you know, the cold calling type. Perhaps I should have let them do all this for me.
