SORRY EVERYONE - THIS IS IN BOOTS.
I hope this is ok as it my first post to start a new thread. If not can some please move/remove etc as I only have a few mins at work to do this. Thanks.
This may be in various branches around the country. In Reading Broad Street today I found Loreal Wrinkle Decrease day cream (50ml) and Collagen Filler (30ml) box set reduced to £11 - then I was able to use my skinnie so £6 to pay and another skinnie!!!
I can't find the same thing on .com so can't say how good a deal that is - but I thought so. Check your clearance shelves! :T

What on earth is a skinnie?!0

I posted this last week on a previous Boots thread - in my local Boots, they were down to £5.50 - so using a "Skinnie" I managed to get them for the grand price of 50p each! As the individual prices of the two items is over £25, this is a total bargain!
One SA tried to butt in & say I couldn't use a Skinnie on the item, as it was clearance, but the male SA who was serving me gave it a try & the till said "Yes", so I did it twice!! Over £50 of stuff for £1!! There were a few on the shelf, I should have bought more!! If one SA won't do it, try a different counter. Places like the chemist or photographic counter tend to allow things through with less questions! They seem less clued-up than the main tills.
Clearance is very hit & miss in Boots, though, so don't make a special trip for them!
And a "Skinnie" is the £5 skincare voucher that you get with a £5 spend. It has a bonus this time, as each time you use it, if the original total of the sale (before the voucher has been deducted) is over £5, you get another one back - so in the example I gave above, not only was the spend just £1, but I also earned back two £5 skinnies!! Previously, you had to hand over £5 cash ON TOP of the voucher to earn one back (Eg: the total spend before voucher needed to be £10)

I haven't tried them yet, as I'm currently using some No7 - but for 50p, its definitely worth a punt!!

I think a "skinny" is an in-word (for the Boots fans people who used to post on the boots threads before they closed) which means a voucher for something skin or skinny related.
If you hear of any term bouncing around with an IE on the end, I would generally assume its a code-name for a voucher. They do it with all of the Boots vouchers.0 -
These are still full price in my area - £26.42!!0
