pamper birthday gift for 'allergic' new mum

Hi all,
I am a total lurker on here but find all your tips and posts really useful - thank you!:T
Now I'd like to pick your brains please....

I am trying to put together a birthday present for my sister, for a couple of months from now. She had her first baby earlier this year, and I'd really like to put her a little bag together of nice pamper things/give her a treat. However, she has super sensitive skin so it's a bit tricky. She loves Lush stuff, so I'd like to give her some of that, but it's quite pricey.

My ideas so far:
- Tickets to the cinema for her and hubby (if I can get these without breaking the bank - any ideas???) - or similar outing
- make a voucher from me for babysitting for the evening/afternoon
- a couple of pamper things like lush stuff

What do you think? Does the cinema thing even go with the lush stuff???

Oh I really need you experts I think :D.....

btw, would normally spend around £30 on a birthday present, but really looking to bring that down this year, needs must.
Thank you!!!

If it was me - bottle of Lush bubble bath (if they do that? Maybe £6?), mini bottle of champagne, another £6? Hair mask, £3, scented candles - as cheap as you can find them... £2?

Use tesco clubcard vouchers - £3 voucher = 1 cineworld voucher. So £6 voucher (but effectively no money out of your pocket.

If it were me I'd give her a gift basket with the pamper products, and a voucher like this one http://www.babeswithbabies.com/Bb_babysittingvoucher.pdf offering to babysit whilst she takes a night off to rejuvenate. And then in the card, put the vouchers and another babysitting voucher.
    I love surprises!

I think it sounds like a fab idea and I don;t see why you can't put Lush products with cinema tickets?

I have used Tesco vouchers to get tickets to Cineworld and it is loads cheaper. They come through in less than a week too.

All Lush stuff is lovely so your sister will be thrilled with whatever you choose from there.

Great idea about the babysitting voucher, you could make it into a booklet of 5 or so?

I would add chocolate but that's just because I love the stuff!!!

How about a new mum survival kit, you just add bits and bobs into a little bag...
Puzzle Piece – To remind you that you are an important piece of your child’s life
Tissue – To dry the tears, baby’s and yours
Marbles –To replace the ones you may loose
Mint – To remind you that your job as a parent is worth a mint
Candle – So you never feel in the dark
Cotton Wool - For times when you can’t hear yourself think
Eraser – To remind you that every new parent makes mistakes
Rubber Band – To remind you to be flexible

jammy that's a great idea! Have been thinking about it again today, think I'm going to get some cinema vouchers, and make up my own voucher entitling her to cinema for 2 (might do popcorn too), homecooked meal for 2 (I will cook for them for the night they want to go out - make it before and deliver it to them in advance so I am not under their feet!), babysitting, and a hot bath/similar (will include some lush products for this).

Might also do the new mum survival kit, or I might save this for another time.

    HOpe she likes it!

Why not check out Ebay for lush stuff? There are usually one or two gift sets or samples of soaps cheaper than in the shop.. :D
