Halifax do shared ownership mortgages so they might do shared equity. Maybe go see a whole market broker tho as they'll have a better idea.
    Mortgage - £37k
    Credit Card (A&L) -[STRIKE] £2300 -[/STRIKE] £1200
    Santander Credit Card - [STRIKE]£1400[/STRIKE] £1100
    [STRIKE]OD - A&L - £1300[/STRIKE] GONE!!!

    Nationwide
    Leeds
    Woolwich
    Abbey

They all do the shared ownership scheme so I would think they do shared equity as well and you will probably find a few others as well that do this scheme

    Good luck

  • The only lender that does this kind of mortgage is RBS/Natwest..

This thread is nearly two years old, Tarniah.

However, to clarify the issue for other readers, your adviser is incorrect.

I've input a 75/25 shared equity split into Mortgage Brain and got the following;-

    Nationwide
    Halifax
    Newbury
    Shepshed
    Dudley
    Monmouthshire
    Principality
    Leeds.

Note - some lenders have geographical restrictions and the level of personal deposit required varies.

It's worth noting though that people such as Principality only do it in Wales.

Also, the list of lenders from Kingstreet is entirely correct but it is also worth noting that different lenders require a different percentage of applicant deposit in addition to the equity deposit.
