Although Mrs Yokel and I have both been discharged from br since early December our credit files will still have a large,red BANKRUPT written across them for some time yet.
Mrs Yokels mobile phone contract has now ended so yesterday she applied for a new contract with a different provider (Better phone, better deal on minutes and texts, free Nintendo Wii/Wii fit all for same money she was paying before)
Needless to say at the end of her online application the usual 'We now need to run a credit check and will be in touch shortly' message popped up.
At this point we thought 'Oh well, no free Nintendo for us then :-('
10 Minutes later the email came through that the credit check had passed with no problem and everything had gone ahead??!!
Most unexpected and very much welcome, perhaps life after br won't be so bad after all!

good for you ! maybe some company are realizing that discharged Br are in better position than some other non -BR as we have no debt to repay at allBSC number 1830
