CAFCGirl wrote:Came home, post was here. Intelligent Finance have offered me a credit card with 4.95% on balance transfers for life of transfer, which is a hell of a lot better than paying 22.9 to MBNA for my Abbey CC!!!
I know I should really be wanting one with 0% but my credit rating is dreadful and I live in rented accomodation, so I didnt think that was too bad. Or am I wrong? I cant really make sense of the information sometimes!!!!
I think thats a good rate..............my life of balance transfer is 6.9% which I'm happy with as I was finding for some reason I was having trouble balance transferring for 0% all the time. So you have a better rate than me.
Congrats on your shopping trip - sounds like a successful day all round.0 -
Buy some cardboard luggage labels to tie around your jar necks with Happy Xmas etc written on them in felt tip.Very arty party!
Great shop!!!!!Snootchie Bootchies!0 -
I have spent nothing yet - thats a 6th No spend day in a row!!! my quest to not spend anything until 25th (payday) is on course!!0

Not a good day with my spending today
1) forgot travelcard as was running late due to breakfast mse time (6.50- can claim this back)
2) no lunch in so 2.50 on chicken tikka & salad hot flatbread from lebanese shop.
3) forgot fags ( further fiver)
:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
60p on New
60p on Diet Coke
(naughty, naughty!!).
I also needed to buy a mascara, carmex (still) and a concealer - but have decided to make do with what I have for now, which will involve cutting open the concealer & trying to scoop out any that's left :0) So potential saving - £20!!!
(although I will need to buy them at some point......)
Managed to save a further £250 this month for my travel fund. Nan kindly "donated" £50, and the rest is car boot/ebay profits & also money from weekly budget that I havent spent...
A bit obsessed me thinks :0(
I hope you all have a good weekend.
Get to leave at 4:30 as I wasnt aloud a lunchbreak (too much work!!).

Well done CAFCgirl!! I can feel your excitement!! I got some kids books in Woollies sale last weekend - since I have to go to town tomorrow, I might have another nose (armed with full Xmas and birthday list!!)
And 4.95% LOB is very good - go for it!
Having another No Spend day here so far - that's 4 on the trot! Not sure if I have enough milk to get me through to tomorrow, so may do my weekly shop tonight.Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
ooooooooooooh I do love it when I get a personalised response.
Really makes you feel like someone's listening!
However I am jealous of the 6 day no spend!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFCGirl - its only because I am really really skint and have to pay off so much next month and I am dtermined to get my debt paid off. I am literally eating awful cupboard stuff for lunch and tea, and working hugely late so I don't go out.
