Media Travel - Bloomin' Nightmare!

I recently searched online for a holiday for my Gran and Great Aunt. They wanted a week away all inclusive in a specific resort in Spain. I found it, they booked through Media Travel back at the start of July and we thought everything was sorted, if only!
Two weeks later my Gran gets a phone call saying the hotel booked is now overbooked and they were changing her to a sister hotel, in a different resort. My Gran replied they booked the holiday specifically for the destination originally booked and that if it was not available to cancel the whole holiday. Quickly they backtracked saying they could arrange for her to stay in the original place. Only they booked the second place, sent her a shed-load of documents and then changed it back straight away and sent more, confusing her.
She's due to fly on Sunday, and when I went down tonight, I read the details. Turns out she's flying with Ryanair and at no point did Media Travel tell her she needed to check-in online for a flight with them. Thank goodness I fly a lot and knew this. Media Travel didn't even send the confirmation e-mail to her with the reference number for the flight, and didn't use an e-mail address we knew of to be able to access web check-in. So I had to call them up and eventually after being on hold to their foreign call centre I got the reference to be able to check in online. Not Ryanair's fault at all, it's Media Travels for failing to make anyone aware of checking in online. So at least I've saved her £160 on check in at the airport for the two of them.
Rant over!
