I don't want to sign up to HPC as it's a bit like hedging a safe bet in getting someone to agree with you. But I am tempted, which I'm sure will make many on here happy.
The level of conversation is just much higher there, and things actually get discussed. Used to happen here, but now it's just rolling icons and smiley faces after yet another jab. Totally made up false lies even get thanked by about 7 of the usuals now. Even when someone agrees with you, they have to make a stupid jab comment to pull you down right after.
Don't mind me, just having an open whinge.

Chill Graham. We'll have lots to discuss once everything hots up. No one has a clue which way anything is going to turn at the moment.
There's an enormous unwinding of debt and rebudgeting process to go through yet. So plenty more twists and turns.0 -

I happen to agree with a lot of that, HPC have their nutters as well, but the level from the knowlegeable posters is far higher than here....... 'The Gilts Thread', over there for instance is excellent with likes of 'Freetrader' etc.
Yer, I know, I often read there and gain a lot of info from there. If I am really stuck, I often state on here "wheres Generali!".
It just seems there are a lot more Generali's over there, and a more level headed approach where someone corrects you if your wrong without having to make a huge issue about it.
We could do it on this forum. But it would take the effort of all us, I'm no saint and often get dragged in!0 -
