Help with Kenwood Chef Liquidiser

Hi. I was very lucky to be given a Kenwood Chef A901 recently which I really love. There was also a liquidiser with it which seems perfect but it doesnt work. The bit that it sits on goes round but the blades inside dont spin. I dont know whether I need a new liquidiser or if there is a part missing from the actual mixer. I hope someone can help. Thanks.

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this as I'm finding myself in a similar position, but as I don't have a manual for my newly purchased a901 I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong? The mixer itself works, but I just can't seem to make the liquidiser go... Any thoughts?
Cheers,

There are two types of Kenwood Chef attachments - IIRC one set are for the A7XX series machines, the other is for the A9XX series. It could be you have the wrong liquidiser for that Chef?0

Are you checking that the lever just by where the liquidiser sits is all the way over - on mine I have to slide it all the way to the right

Thanks for the responses, guys! I didn't even think to check if it was the right model and it's been confirmed it's a 700 series liquidiser; thanks for giving me the idea to check.

The 701 model has a lever but the 901 doesn't.
Kenwood have recently started making replacement liquidisers for these models, which means that I can finally replace my scratched and chipped one!If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0
