Just been for NHS job interview

:T Hi, there i have posted b4 about going for a NHS interview. Here are some tips about the interview questions

Tell me a little about yourself
What attracts you to job
Why do you think customer service is important
what is excellent customer service
who is a team player
why is teaming working important to this job
what is your view on personal hygiene

i have just literally come back from the interview, these are the questions which are fresh on my mind.

It was a wonderful interview,i was prepared for every question,i was honest and same time told them what them what they wanted to hear.

the down side of it was,the lady who interview me said the job description was just disguise and there was more to it-when i heard that i had wished i had called b4 interview and had a informal chat. anyway the varied shift patterns is not as varied as it sounds-it is fixed from 4-8.30pm.those hours do not fit in with a young family.but i kept my cool when the lady was explaining all these, did not give her any clues to say that this job may not be suitable for me.She is interviewing candidates for alot of admin jobs,so i didn't want to mess anything up

Overall it was good effort on my part.i am not really bothered wheather i get the job or not,but at least i have done my bit.:j

These are quite poor interview questions as it is obvious what the right answer is in most cases and it will not be possible to differentiate one candidate from another. It is this sort of interviewing that leads to the best looking or most talkative person being employed rather than the one who is best at the job. Useful info for potential candidates though, OP.

    Hi everyone,
it is clerical admin job pay band 2.Overall interview was much longer and i was asked to give examples of each of questions asked. i was in turn asked wheather i had any queries about the job. the whole interview was about 45mins and the panel was made up of 2 interviewers the team leader and the site supervisor.

some of the questions i forgot to add:
what do you think this job involves: i got this wrong,as the job description was a disguise(as told by the person who interviewed me)
you left your previous job in may, what have you been doing since then.
what skills can you offer to this job.

the interview was conducted in a very professional manner and everyone made me feel relaxed.so anyone going for NHS interview, don't be nervous, show confidence and keen interest.the rest is up to GOD!!:T
