Long life skimmed milk in Farm Foods is 42p per litre. If you are prepared to buy it in cases of 12, it's £5, which saves another 4p and works out at 21.13p per pint.

In my local lidl the price is 0.98 for 2 litres not 4 pints.

Certainly better than the other one that is £1.49 for 4 pints in Lidl though!

Milk needs a good day to defrost in the fridge though. Don't get the chance to freeze it in our house, it's gone before I get it!

I love B and M's, a very underrated shop, and buy my milk for 59p a pint (Graham's milk so a good brand which is £1 more expensive in our local Dobbies) there every week. I only have a small fridge so the smaller bottles fit in my fridge perfectly :)

a lot of people get mixed up with 2L and 4 pinter, as they are virtually the same bottles, but ever so slightly smaller.

    B & M do 2L milk which is round about 3.5 pints for 98p.

Op - are you in south Manchester? Just guessing from your username. If you go to one of the Indian supermarkets in Rusholme they do 2ltrs for 79p approx 22p a pint.
