Refreeze fruit?

Can someone help please. I got back from holiday last night and then in the middle of the night the freezer started bleeping like mad. The door was slightly open and everything in there had de-frosted  Not sure when the door was opened as we had people coming in to feed our cat.

Anyway I know it's not a good idea to eat the raw meat but I've got a load of gooseberries in there that I can't face wasting - it was so painfull picking them in the first place :rotfl:So does anyone know if it's safe to refreeze them and then cook them when I'm ready to?

Yeah, it will be fine, unless they deterioated badly whilst not in the freezer.
And if, you know, your history...
